Please Ask the Ga DOC to Allow Scott’s TV Interview

Dear supporters,

The Georgia Department of Corrections has so far not allowed Scott to do an on-camera interview with various media companies. A new program wants to do Scott’s case for their new television series which will cover all of the new evidence in the case since trial. We believe that Scott should be able to do an on-camera interview to tell his side of the story since the prosecution and others have told theirs in old television programs. Those old television programs are no longer current or accurate.

We ask that you contact the Georgia Department of Corrections Public Affairs Department and ask them to allow Scott’s on-camera interview by using their contact form or by writing them in the mail. Below is a sample letter that you could use and customize so that you can provide the correct information.

Allowing Scott to interview is on the public’s best interest so that there truth can be told. Scott’s claim of innocence is supported by credible facts. Certainly, he has not received a fair trial.

We thank you for you for your support!

Dear Public Affairs,

It has come to our attention that Scott W. Davis #1234213 has been asked to be interviewed on camera by Pilgrim media and other media organizations for a news television program. Unfortunately we have been told that you are denying this interview. We are writing in an effort to get you to change your mind and allow the interview with Scott Davis.

TV shows in the past have been allowed to tell the prosecution’s side of this case without Scott being interviewed. Over the years new evidence has shown that Scott has a credible claim that he is innocent and was wrongly convicted. At a minimum it is clear that his trial was likely unfair. In the latest ruling in federal court even a judge agreed that a “reasonable jurist could determine that the Petitioner (Scott Davis) didn’t get a fair trial”.

We ask that you reassess the situation and allow Scott to be interviewed on camera and balance the media reported in this case. We respect the opinion of the victim’s family as well, but we believe it is in the best interest of the public to understand all the facts and to hear Scott’s side of the story especially since so much evidence since trial has been discovered to be in his favor.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Sincerely,
