Megan Bruton: Guilty, Liar or Confused?

Megan Bruton is a key player in this case of course. And her changing story about how she knew that David Coffin had been shot is the key mystery in the case. She changed her story repeatedly and only when a massive reward was announced did she change her story to Scott supposedly that he had given her that information.

It’s ridiculous story yet somehow it became truth to people who wanted to convict Scott at all costs. Megan’s story the first night was as Chambers said that she did not know how David had died. A few days later she admitted to apparently the then district attorney Joe Burford that she did tell Scott this information. She also stated this to her friend Jennifer Jenacova. It was only a year later when a massive reward was offered by the Coffins that in Hawaii during an interview she came up with the story that Scott had given her this information.

This fabricated story involves Scott supposedly talking to her on the phone when she called him at his house while the police were standing right next to him. During this alleged conversation Scott as stated by Megan told her that the police had told him that someone had been shot at David’s house. It’s almost comical in it’s construction but of course it’s not because it helped convict Scott. Two police were standing next to Scott Davis when he spoke with Megan on the phone and no one of course ever heard Scott say anything about somebody being shot. No police would give such information even if they had it just got in a situation like that. Overall it’s ridiculous. Yet prosecutors heard it and ran with it. This despite the fact that others including David Coffin’s best friend Craig and his girlfriend heard Megan tell Scott this information. It was literally a conspiracy of police and prosecutors to lie and use what they knew to be false as evidence in a trial against somebody.

However we know that this was false and impossible for many reasons s documented on this website. Megan told her best friend Jennifer this information 10 minutes before she ever spoke to Scott so it’s impossible Scott gave her the information. It’s simply a lie. But why did she change her story? Was she just greedy or was she confused? Only she knows the true answer but in the end her changing story which was false is the likely most important piece of how the police were able to convict Scott. To this day it’s amazing that police and prosecutors never investigated Megan’s story initially. We now know that assistant district attorney Joe Burford took notes in early January of 1997 where Megan admitted that she gave Scott this information. Yet there’s no investigation or questioning to how. Does that make any sense? The only answer is that it wasn’t convenient for there storyline that Scott was guilty. If Megan actually did divulge this information as she stated and as Scott and others had stated, Megan was a suspect and Scott was likely innocent. Clearly this wasn’t convenient for police and prosecutors so apparently it was ignored.

Today it is important as this new evidence from Joe Burford was divulged for us. So we wanted to analyze Megan’s behavior at trial and we probably will get the answer about her motivation and her bias. She participated in a blog at the time of trial when she was explicitly told by the court not to discuss the case or to talk to witnesses and others. However she couldn’t stop herself and anonymously participated as seven different fake identities and personalities in a major effort try to convince the public and in her own words jurors that Scott was guilty and that she was an innocent bystander.

This is analyzed in an unbiased way which we have done today thanks to the technical Excellence of AI will show that she should be considered an untruthful and untrusted source and that her motivations were clearly self-serving in an effort to convict Scott, make herself look good and get a reward.

We are posting both the blog and her AI psychological evaluation for you to review and consider yourself. It’s amazing how a false narrative and story that started with Megan and was perpetuated by detective Chambers and others became a type of Truth even though it was false. Detective Chambers has bragged for years that his illegal interview and threats were able to get Scott to admit that he had this information on his own which is another lie as proven by these facts and the tape of Scott’s interview itself. Chambers used these lies to convince others of lies and he committed other misconduct to over the years perpetuate the falsities and eventually convicts Scott wrongfully.

When you look at the analysis of Megan’s behaviors and so on you can see the person and the type of person that was the bedrock of this false conviction and the prosecutors efforts. It shows how much bad faith was involved and had a case was handled and how over the years state has to see the public about the facts in this case. Take a look and we ask for your comments about what you think about Megan’s behavior and her comments and whether she is in fact truthful or just a big liar?

New evidence actually points to the person that was behind these crimes and this person was in fact close to Megan. The question we have is could Megan have just been confused that night about the facts because she took Valium and in fact did not remember that John Teasley was a person who gave her this information? We’re hoping the new avenues that will be presented will in fact allow her to tell the truth as hopefully it might in fact jog the truth out of her memory. This doesn’t excuse her behavior or the lies that she and others perpetuated. But if the truth comes out and Scott is given the public exoneration that he deserves, all will be forgiven.
